Andrew J. Paterno
Andy’s distinguished career in the insurance industry spans over 35 years. Prior to co-founding Centurion Insurance Services, he served as President of the West Virginia Region of Huntington National Bank and Vice Chairman of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, USA. He has significant experience managing teams in a multi-state region, and understanding of employee benefits claims administration, workers’ compensation claims adjudication, property and casualty and bonding brokerage services.
A 2018 inductee into the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame, Andy was also included in the West Virginia State Journal’s Who’s Who in West Virginia Business in 2014. Andy was a meritorious inductee into the University of Charleston Hall of Fame in 2008, and received an honorary doctorate degree from Concord University in 2016.
Adam C. Rohrig
Adam is a cofounder of Centurion Insurance Services. He has over 25 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, with specific emphasis in the energy and manufacturing industries. Adam previously served as a Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo Insurance Services, USA and was the Mining Practice leader for McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc.
Adam has proven success in selecting and securing proper coverage for industrial clients. He brings a broad understanding of state-of-the-art coverages and the ability to place unique insurance programs for his clients. His areas of expertise include alternative risk transfer, complex workers’ compensation, self-insured programs and property insurance.
Adam holds a B.A. in History and M.S. in Safety and Environmental Management from West Virginia University.
Anthony J. Paterno
Senior Vice President
Tony, an expert in employee benefits, brings over 16 years of experience to Centurion Insurance Services. As an employee benefits advisor, he designs and executes benefit strategies for employers who want only the best for their team. A trusted educator in the industry, Tony arms employers and their employees with a clear understanding of how to best use their benefits to ensure their well-being. In addition to a wealth of knowledge, Tony brings vision and direction to clients who strive to provide excellent employee benefits.
Prior to joining Centurion, Tony served as Vice President for Huntington Insurance and Assistant Vice President for Wells Fargo Insurance Service of West Virginia.
Tony holds a B.A. in Business Management from Wheeling Jesuit University, and is an alumni of Leadership West Virginia. An advocate for industry education, he is a former president of the West Virginia chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
James William (Jim Bill) Harvey
Senior Vice President
Jim Bill has over 30 years of experience as a broker, specializing in risk management and financial services. Prior to joining Centurion Insurance Services, he served as Managing Director for the West Virginia region of Huntington Insurance and spent 20 years as a Managing Senior Vice President for a national broker.
Jim Bill’s expertise is designing specialized insurance products for energy and mining clients. He believes in providing value added service to his clients and the underwriters with whom he works.
Jim Bill holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering and Industrial Management from West Virginia University Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from West Virginia University. He is a Poundstone Distinguished Engineer of Mines honoree, awarded by the Statler College of Engineering at West Virginia University.
Samuel M. Femia
Sam has over 20 years of insurance experience, with emphasis in employee benefits and workers’ compensation. He previously served as Vice President for Wells Fargo Insurance Services and Huntington Insurance. His expertise in designing, communicating and implementing custom benefit plans has made him a trusted advisor for both large and small businesses. Sam specializes in maximizing the value of employee benefits for organizations of all sizes through specialized strategic planning and superior customer service.
Sam holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from the University of Charleston.
Jason Moody, CPCU®
Jason brings over 15 years of experience to Centurion Insurance Services, where he specializes in customizing property and casualty insurance services for his clients. Jason is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®), a distinguished designation earned by completing rigorous studies of commercial insurance and business topics.
With a strong background in network recruiting and marketing, Jason is also a proven leader in developing and training agents. His initiatives with Mountain State Agency Alliance grew the network to over 50 Independent Strategic Members with a multi-million dollar profit and earned him the SIAA Recruiter of the Year award.
Jason holds a B.S. in Justice Administration from the University of Louisville, and proudly serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
Following a stellar 15 year career in sales, Chris moved to the insurance industry in 2017. He excels as a producer, recognized as a Top Ten Agent in his first year. At Centurion, Chris customizes property and casualty insurance products for his clients. He specializes in providing knowledgeable, personal service and insurance education. Chris strives to help businesses understand and maximize their coverage.
Prior to joining Centurion, Chris served as a sales and marketing agent for White Insurance, and a business account executive for multiple leading technology companies. He has extensive experience in the healthcare, legal, real estate and technology industries.
Chris attended West Virginia State University and is an active leader in local youth sports.
Diane C. Clyburn
Commercial Account Manager
Diane has over 34 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in the energy sector. She holds both Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses, and works closely with clients to match their needs to the right programs. Diane works primarily with commercial property and casualty clients.
Nicole L. Deems, AAI
Commercial Account Manager
Nicole has over 20 years of experience as a property and casualty insurance agent, specializing in the energy sector. She holds non-residence Property and Casualty licenses in over 35 states and brings an extensive understanding of insurance coverages, principles and underwriting. Nicole excels at technical analysis of complex energy clients and matching clients to their right products for their needs, while providing excellent customer service.
Nicole holds an A.A. degree in Accounting and Business Management from New River Community and Technical College and is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance.
Donna S. Gordon
Commercial Account Manager
Donna has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, with emphasis in employee benefits. She holds a non-resident accident, sickness and life license in 45 states and is an expert in all aspects of insurance. Donna manages the day-to-day operations of employee benefits clients, including enrollments and renewals. Donna previously served as an Employee Benefits Specialist with Huntington Insurance and in multiple positions with Wells Fargo Insurance Services of West Virginia.
Donna holds an A.A. degree in Accounting from West Virginia State University.
Commercial Account Manager
Sarah has over eight years of experience in the insurance industry and holds both Life, Accident and Sickness and Property and Casualty licenses. She is an Accredited Customer Service Representative that serves as a Commercial Account Manager and process strategist, ensuring smooth enrollment programs and seamless customer service for clients. Sarah is also a Zywave software specialist and serves as a liaison to clients who use the service.
David P. Cook
Employee Benefits / Workers’ Compensation Consultant
An expert in employee benefits, David has over 43 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining Centurion Insurance Services, David served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Senior Vice President for HealthSmart Casualty Claims Solutions. He works to educate others and advance the employee benefits industry through membership in the Society for Professional Benefit Administrators, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the Self-Insured Institute of America. David is a charter member of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
David holds a B.A. in Political Science and M.P.A. from West Virginia University.
Timothy J. Mitchell, GBDS, AIF®
Life & Retirement Plan Consultant
Tim has 36 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, having worked with organizations such as Acordia, Mutual of New York, Prudential and Wells Fargo Insurance Services. A life and retirement plan specialist, Tim is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary who focuses his attention on employers offering retirement plans, deferred compensation plans, corporate owned life insurance (COLI) and Executive Long-Term Care plans.
Jason brings extensive experience in management and business development to his position as an employee benefits advisor. He is licensed in both property and casualty and accident, sickness and life insurance. Jason works with clients to understand their benefits needs and matches them with the right products. His background in the chemical industry gives him a unique understanding of energy and manufacturing clients, making him a great service provider for industrial companies. Jason previously served as an Account Executive in wealth management for First Guaranty Bank.

Mary H. Meredith
Loss Control Manager
Rob brings over 35 years experience in loss control and risk management to Centurion Insurance Services. His broad background gives him an understanding of the loss control needs in many industries, including energy and manufacturing. Rob has led over 5,000 clients through plans to eliminate risk, save money and create a safer work environment. He is a sought after speaker for industry events and thorough instructor on the topics of safety and loss prevention. Rob has worked with many leading companies in the insurance industry, including as Loss Control Manager for Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
Rob is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Pikeville College. He holds dual professional certifications from Michigan State University in Human Resource Management and Workers Compensation Insurance. A lifelong learner, Rob has extensive professional education credentials. He completed Chubb Insurance Loss Control and Commercial Union Insurance Risk Control Schools. He also holds a training instructor’s card from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and a 40-Hour Oil and Gas Safety Card from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
